The project
Mop Pop is a residential and commercial cleaning company in Sydney that was running its entire operation through phone calls, a shared inbox and a spreadsheet. Growth had made that arrangement expensive: quotes took a day to turn around, jobs were double-booked, and nobody could tell which subcontractor was where.
We designed and built the platform that replaced all of it: a public site with an instant quoting engine and online booking on the front, and three separate authenticated portals behind it for customers, employees and subcontractors.
The challenge
The hard part was not the interface, it was the pricing model. A cleaning quote depends on property size, service type, frequency, add-ons, access constraints and travel zone, and the business had been applying that logic informally, in someone's head. Modelling it precisely enough to quote automatically, while keeping it editable by the office without a deploy, was the core of the engineering work.
The solution
A configurable rules engine drives quoting, with pricing tables the office edits from an admin UI rather than a developer editing code. Everything else is built around that single source of truth: booking, memberships, recurring schedules, invoicing and dispatch all read the same model.
